Billing

You can try Orbi Cloud without paying anything, then subscribe to Solo or Pro through Stripe from the account menu or the pricing page. Orbi Cloud does not hold your card details. Payment, invoices and cancellation are handled by Stripe’s own hosted pages.

The plans

Both paid plans can be billed monthly or yearly, and neither has per-token overage billing. When the month’s allowance runs out, new deliveries pause instead. Current prices and the yearly discount are on the pricing page, which is the reference for what you will be charged. Founding members get 50% off for life with the promotion code FOUNDING50, limited to 6 places. The pricing page shows how many places are left. The offer does not change the Solo or Pro allowances. Failed deliveries never consume the free allowance, and you can use your own model key on any plan. See limits and quotas for exactly how each allowance is counted. Which plan? Solo fits one repository and a steady trickle of Issues. Pick Pro when you want several repositories connected at once, or when Solo’s monthly allowance runs out before the month does. Self-hosting the open-source Orbi engine is free, and stays free. One verified official example copy can be connected in addition to the real-project limit on every plan. Its deliveries do not use the three free deliveries; see trying the example.

Subscribe

There are three ways in:

• From the pricing page. Choose Solo or Pro, monthly or yearly, on orbi.build/cloud. If you are not signed in yet, you sign in with GitHub first; your choice is kept, and until you finish the account menu shows your choice, for example You picked Solo (yearly) on the pricing page, with a Continue subscription link.
• From the account menu. Click your avatar, then Subscribe with Stripe. This subscribes you to Pro, billed monthly; use the pricing page when you want Solo or yearly billing.
• From the status page. Once your free deliveries are used up, the main status card shows a Subscribe button. It opens the same checkout as the account menu.

All three complete payment on Stripe Checkout, where you can also enter a promotion code such as FOUNDING50. Stripe then returns you to Orbi Cloud. While you have not subscribed, the status page’s Usage and settings summary shows the founding code, and once your free deliveries are used up it appears next to the Subscribe button with a Copy button. The pricing page also lists a one-time payment with Alipay or WeChat Pay for each plan, monthly or yearly. It does not renew automatically. Your subscription activates as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. The account menu shows Subscription active, and your plan’s name appears next to your login. You do not need to reconnect your repository or reconfigure anything.

Managing your subscription

Once subscribed, the account menu shows Manage subscription instead. It opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can update your payment method, download invoices and cancel. On Solo, when your monthly allowance runs out the status page also offers Upgrade to Pro directly. See limits and quotas.

Subscription states

The chip next to your login in the account menu shows your plan: If your payment failed, the account menu also says Subscription payment failed; you are on the free plan for now. Stripe may try to charge again. Fix the payment method in the same customer portal: Manage subscription stays available in that state so you can repair it. While the payment is failing, new Issues are subject to the free allowance rules.

Cancelling

Cancel through the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not delete your repository connections, your task history or your model configuration. While Stripe still reports the subscription as active, for example until the end of a period you have already paid for, your plan stays in effect. Once the subscription has ended, new dispatch follows the unsubscribed rules described in limits and quotas. To remove Orbi’s access to your code entirely, uninstall the GitHub App. Cancelling a subscription and uninstalling the App are separate actions.

Invoices and receipts

All invoices live in the Stripe customer portal under Manage subscription. Orbi Cloud does not email them separately.
