Failed deliveries do not consume the free allowance. See limits and quotas for exactly how both allowances are counted.
Self-hosting the open-source Orbi engine is free, and stays free.
Subscribe
On the status page, in the Account card, click Subscribe with Stripe. You are taken to Stripe Checkout; completing payment returns you to Orbi Cloud. Your subscription activates as soon as Stripe confirms the payment — you do not need to do anything else, and you do not need to reconnect your repository or reconfigure anything.You do not have to subscribe before trying Orbi Cloud. Sign-in, App installation, connecting a repository, provisioning and your first three merged deliveries are all free.
Manage your subscription
Once subscribed, the same place in the Account card becomes Manage subscription. It opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can update your payment method, download invoices, and cancel.Subscription states

If you are past due, fix the payment method in the same billing portal — the portal is reachable in that state precisely so you can repair it. While past due, your tenant is treated as unsubscribed for dispatch purposes, so new Issues are subject to the free allowance rules.
Cancelling
Cancel through the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not delete your repository connection, your delivery history or your model configuration. After cancelling you keep whatever remains of your free allowance behaviour — that is, new dispatch follows the unsubscribed rules described in limits and quotas. To remove Orbi’s access to your code entirely, uninstall the GitHub App. Cancelling a subscription and uninstalling the App are separate actions.Founding Partner
The first ten subscribers are Founding Partners: the subscription is free, with the 300M monthly tokens covered, in exchange for one accepted Issue per month steering the product. The coupons are limited in number; once they run out, subscriptions are at the regular US$79.Founding Pilot and Founding Partner are two different things. Founding Pilot is the name of the paid plan, and it is what the Subscription status line shows for any active subscription. Founding Partner is the programme described here, limited to the first ten subscribers.
